Mission Statement

“To develop an enlightened Muslim society nurtured by a true understanding of Islam for the spiritual upliftment and welfare of mankind”

Our mission implies that we shall strive towards the development of an enlightened Muslim society. Our activities will be aimed not only at the spiritual development of Muslims but also their welfare. We shall focus on helping the Muslim ummah to develop a true understanding of Islam according to the beliefs of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah.

We believe that the continual pursuit of the above objectives will facilitate the prevalence of peace, justice, and social improvement for Muslims and Non-Muslims alike.

Walworth Road Moque registered as:
Dairat Amni Isalmic Welfare UK was formally established in the UK in March 2010. The aim was to promote religious and social interactions within the Muslim community in London.

“As-salaam Alaykum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuh!
In the name of Allah, most gracious the most merciful. Praise Be to Allah – we praise Allah, we seek aid from Allah, we seek guidance, and we seek from Allah refuge from the evils of ourselves, and our bad deeds. It is he whom Allah guides that is on true guidance; but he whom Allah leaves astray, for such wilts thou find no protector to lead him to the right way. And we profess that our prophet and leader is Muhammad (SAW), May Allah’s Peace & Grace be upon him. Ameen”

A Place For You

The main goal of the organization is to identify and tackles the many issues plaguing the local community whilst also acting as ambassadors of Islam, during a time when the religion of Islam was heavily frowned upon.

We offer a wide variety of services ranging from the provision of adequate prayer facilities for both men and women; Arabic and Islamic studies courses; advice sessions on legal, housing and health matters; community engagement and educational opportunities; as well as youth activities and support for the elderly.

Above all, it provides a safe place where Muslims can cultivate their faith whilst integrating in our multi-cultural and multi-ethnic community.
